The Sinclair computers entered the American market in 1980, with the small but powerful ZX80. Four years later, after the Timex/Sinclair 2068 had been on the market for only a few months, the Timex Computer Corporation exited the market.
Timex/Sinclair fans, however, persisted well after 1984, using their computers to do all the things “real” computer could do. They invented new hardware, wrote thousands of programs and shared their efforts with their fellow enthusiasts.
This book documents every product marketed in the United States, whether it is hardware, software or an accessory, made for Sinclair and Timex/Sinclair computers. Everything contained in this book appeared in a general or Sinclair-specific computer magazine, catalog or other document.
All told, more than 900 companies made, marketed and sold more than 3,000 items.
