In 1985, Zebra Systems produced a cartridge for the Timex Sinclair 2068 that allowed users to program and use applications in 64 column mode. The OS-64 Cartridge worked with BASIC and included built-in drivers for popular printer interfaces, allowing users to print to full-size parallel (Centronics) printers.
64 column mode uses both display files and reduces the available RAM by 5K. It’s also limited in number of colors/color combinations; BRIGHT, FLASH and INVERSE are not supported in this mode. If you want the maximum value from the 64 column mode, we recommend our RGB to HDMI adapter for the 2068.
This is an assembled and tested OS-64 cartridge for the Timex/Sinclair 2068.
